MOREHEAD, Ky. — CBS Sports Network will televise the Ohio Valley Conference men’s basketball game between Morehead State and Tennessee Tech on Thursday, Feb. 26. The contest at Johnson Arena in Morehead will tip-off at 9 p.m. ET.

Morehead State will have at least three nationally-televised contests in 2014-15, plus one affair on regional TV. The Eagles will face Cincinnati (Nov. 19) on Fox Sports Ohio, Ohio State (Dec. 13) on the Big Ten Network and Eastern Kentucky (Feb. 11) on ESPNU.

Morehead State can add to its television schedule if it advances to the semifinals of the conference tournament at Municipal Auditorium in Nashville. The semifinals (March 6) will be shown on ESPNU, while the championship (March 7) will be carried by ESPN2.

“This television schedule is great exposure for our program, athletic department and university,” Head Coach Sean Woods said. “We are optimistic about the 2014-15 season, and these games will be a terrific opportunity to showcase what should be a quality product.”

All of Morehead State’s televised games will also be streamed live on the internet. The Cincinnati and Eastern Kentucky contests, plus the OVC semifinals and championship, will be available via ESPN3.com. The Ohio State tilt will be shown on BTN2Go.com.

“We are grateful to the people who decided we are worthy of being on television this year,” Woods added. “I’m glad our program will be featured on a variety of networks in 2014-15. These games are always exciting for our families, friends, recruits, alumni and fans.”

CBS Sports Network is a sports-oriented cable channel operated by CBS. Launched in 2002, it was previously known as National College Sports Network and CBS College Sports Network. CBSSN covers 35 different men’s and women’s college sports each year.

Morehead State will host St. Catharine (Ky.) on Nov. 5 in its only exhibition game this season. The Eagles open regular-season action on Nov. 14 at Mountain West Conference foe UNLV. MSU will entertain 13 regular-season opponents at Johnson Arena in 2014-15.
