Team Records, Game Notables and Series Information

· WKU drops to 1-1 on the season, while Minnesota evens up at 1-1.

· Minnesota has now won both all-time matchups between the two schools, including a meeting in the 2010 Puerto Rico Tip-Off.

· WKU falls to 11-20 against current members of the Big Ten Conference, dropping the last two matchups, with its last win coming against Illinois in the 2009 NCAA Tournament in Portland, Ore.

· WKU returns to E.A. Diddle Arena Saturday night at 7:00 (CT) to host Belmont. The Bruins are one of just six teams in the nation to win 26 or more games in each of the last four seasons, joining Duke, Florida, Syracuse, Wichita State and VCU.

Team Notes

· Minnesota hit 6-of-8 shots and went on an 8-0 run over 0:56 to take a 20-6 lead with 12:37 to go in the first half. The Hilltoppers had seven turnovers to that point in the game.

· WKU hit three-straight three-pointers to come within seven at 24-17 with 7:46 left in the half, while Minnesota went 2-of-9 from the floor.

· After clawing back to within seven, WKU had four turnovers in 20 seconds and Minnesota opened a 33-19 advantage.

· WKU finished the half with 16 turnovers and shot 38.5 percent (10-for-26). Minnesota was 19-for-36 from the floor (.528).

· WKU went the first two-and-a-half minutes of the second half without scoring before a Trency Jackson three-pointer. Minnesota led 53-28.

· After trailing by 25 with 17:59 left in the game, WKU had it to 19 at the under-8:00 media timeout and 15 with 3:00 to play.

· WKU used the starting lineup of Chris Harrison-Docks, Trency Jackson, T.J. Price, George Fant and Aleksej Rostov for the second time this season.

· The Hilltoppers have hit a three pointer in 842-straight games dating back to March 13, 1987

Individual Notes

· All 13 available Hilltoppers played in the first 20 minutes.

· Redshirt-junior Nigel Snipes set a career high with 15 points and tied a career best with eight rebounds in 21 minutes off the bench.

o Snipes doubled his previous best for three-pointers in a game with four.

· Freshman Justin Johnson had 15 points and seven rebounds in 25 minutes off the bench while going 6-for-8 from the floor.

· With three points scored, T.J. Price saw his streak of five-straight games of 10 or more points snapped.

o Price has still scored in double figures in 63 of his 95 games as a Hilltopper.

· Chris Harrison-Docks went 2-for-2 from the free throw line, extending his streak of made free throws to 15.
