Belmont Is Dancing After Murray State Upset

Nashville,TN.— The Belmont Bruins snapped #25 Murray State and their 25 game win streak last night in a thrilling victory in the OVC tile game 88-87. The win gave the Bruins the first ticket to the 2015 NCAA dance.

Packed with plenty of offense by both squads the Bruins  led by Craig Bradshaw’s 25 points Belmont upheld the Racer’s offensive attack which included 28 points from T.J.Sapp,  20 points, 10 dimes, and 6 boards from the Racers standout Cameron Payne.

The game was a barn burner a real up and down battle between two mid majors. It boiled down to Taylor Barnette hitting a 3 with 3 seconds left to seal the victory for the Bruins and the OVC title.

Both coaches really let their kids play and it turned out to be a dandy of a game and one to bring in March Madness in full effect. The game was one of the most entertaining of all season. If this game didn’t get you ready for March none will.

The Bruins are 0-6 in previous NCAA tournament appearances and are predicted to be a #14 seed.
