MOREHEAD, Ky. – Haley-Sue Foutch, who helped Ashland’s Paul Blazer High School to four consecutive 16th Region Tournament titles in Morehead State’s Johnson Arena, will play her collegiate basketball on that same floor. Foutch has completed enrollment requirements and will join the MSU women’s team for the 2015-16 season.

A 5-foot-11 forward, Foutch scored more than 1,000 career points and helped the Kittens to the 2013-14 Kentucky High School Athletic Association Final Four. She played in all 135 games during her prep career.

“Haley-Sue will be a good addition to our program,” Head Coach Greg Todd said. “She is a proven winner and an excellent student. We are glad to have her in our program.”

Along with four regional titles, Foutch helped Head Coach Bill Bradley’s teams to three district titles. She was named Honorable Mention All-State following her junior and senior seasons. A three-time member of the 16th Region All-Tournament Team, Foutch was also tabbed all-area three times.

Foutch averaged 12.5 points as a junior and senior and grabbed 8.0 rebounds per outing as a junior while pulling in 6.6 rebounds her final season. She connected on better than 50 percent from the field throughout her career.

Foutch is the fourth newcomer for the upcoming season, joining fall signee Miranda Crockett, transfer Brianna McQueen and summer addition Kay Kay Tate.
