Murray State Football To Have Three Games Featured on ASN

The Murray State football team will have three games broadcast on the American Sports Network this season, the Ohio Valley Conference announced Thursday. The games are a part of the network’s overall six game package with the league.

The Racers will kick-off the six-game deal for the OVC on September 26 when they host Tennessee Tech at The Track. One week later, on October 3, the Racers clash with Southeast Missouri in Cape Girardeau will also be broadcast on the ASN. Murray State’s final game on the network will be November 7 when it travels to historic Hale Stadium in Nashville to take on Tennessee State.

With the addition of the three games on the ASN, the Racers will now have five of their 11 total games and four of their six away games televised nationally. Murray State’s games at both Northern Illinois on September 12 and Western Michigan on September 19 will be carried on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app.

MSU could still have more games broadcast on ESPN3 thanks the OVC’s wild card games on the network, which will be announced approximately 12 days before each game. The October 31 match-up at home against Eastern Illinois, the November 14 game at home against Eastern Kentucky and the season finale on November 21 at Jacksonville State are eligible to be chosen as the league’s Game of the Week on the worldwide leader’s premier digital platform.

All Murray State home games and all road OVC games will also be broadcast free on the OVC Digital Network. Games on the ASN will be available on television, through the ASN’s website and also on the OVC Digital network. A full list of ASN affiliates is available at their website, americansportsnetwork.com.
