Morehead State Basketball: Thursday Basketball Games Postponed Until Monday

msu021815

MOREHEAD, Ky. — Both of Morehead State’s Thursday basketball games (Feb. 19) have been postponed until Monday (Feb. 23) due to poor weather conditions in Kentucky and Tennessee. The Eagle women will host Tennessee Tech at 5 p.m. ET, while the MSU men will visit Tennessee State at 8 p.m. ET.

The decisions were made due to snow accumulations of more than a foot in Eastern Kentucky and an ice storm which has caused dangerous driving conditions in Central Tennessee. They took into consideration the safety of fans, student-athletes, coaches, officials and game operations personnel.

Monday at Johnson Arena will still be “Think Pink” night. Pink “MSU Cares” t-shirts will be on sale for $10, and all proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children, while Morehead State students are admitted free with a valid ID. There is no charge for parking.

The Eagle men have three regular-season games remaining. After Monday at Tennessee State (8 p.m.), the Eagles will host Tennessee Tech in a nationally-televised affair on Feb. 26 (9 p.m.) and Jacksonville State for Senior Day on Feb. 28 (6 p.m.).

The MSU women have four regular-season tilts left. The Eagles travel to Eastern Kentucky on Saturday (4 p.m.), host Tennessee Tech on Monday (5 p.m.), visit Tennessee State on Feb. 25 (7 p.m.) and host Jacksonville State for Senior Day on Feb. 28 (3 p.m.).
