Many, many eyes will be geared towards the 2015 Paintsville Tigers this season. Why? Two words, Kash Daniel.
On July 4th, 2015 Daniel, who is a Rivals 3* Linebacker, committed to the University of Kentucky over fellow perennial schools such as the University of Louisville & the University of South Carolina.
Joe Chirico returns for his 3rd season as the head coach of the Tigers and has brought much excitement back to Paintsville’s historic program with him. Overall record at Paintsville 18 wins & 7 losses.
The Tigers only lose 7 seniors from last season’s team, key departures include: RB Daymion Belcher, RB Don’te Hendricks & LB Gabe Burchell.
Some key players returning include the aformentioned: QB/LB Senior #15 Kash Daniel, RB/LB #11 Luke Trimble & RB/LB Junior Darren Morris.
Paintsville will make the short trip 30 minute trip to Inez to battle the Sheldon Clark Cardinals to kick-off their 2015 campaign Friday, August 21st.
