Pike Central vs. Pikeville Preview

Pikeville and Pike Central will battle on the gridiron Friday night (Oct. 30) for the first time since Johns Creek and Mullins consolidated in 1993.

Pikeville is led by senior running back Daric Pugh. Pugh has carried the ball 107 times for 1,048 and 21 touchdowns on the season.

Pikeville quarterback Wyatt Battaile is having a solid season after taking over as the Panthers starting quarterback. Battaile’s completed 33-42 passes for 669 yards and 9 touchdowns.

Offensively Pikeville is averaging 358 yards of total offense per game this season. The Panthers are averaging 248.4 yards rushing, 109.4 yards passing and 44 points per game this season.
