BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Eastern Kentucky University’s Patric Sundlof was named Adidas Ohio Valley Conference Male Golfer of the Week on Wednesday. The senior finished tied for first at the Cardinal Intercollegiate.
Sundlof opened play on Monday with a 4-under round of 68 and then shot an even-par 72 during the second round. The Tullinge, Sweden native concluded play on Tuesday with a 1-under 71 for a three-round total of 211, five shots under par. He finished tied with Greg Smail of Louisiana-Monroe.
Eastern tied for sixth overall at the two-day event.
Sundlof is in his second season at EKU. His previous best finish as a Colonel came at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate in March where he placed second.
The Colonels will play again on Monday and Tuesday at the Bearcat Invitational hosted by Cincinnati at the Traditions Golf Club in Hebron, Kentucky.
