Eastern Kentucky University freshman Nick Mayo was voted the Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Week for the seventh time on Monday, the league office announced.
Mayo averaged 19.0 and 7.0 rebounds-per-game last week.
The 6-9 forward from Oakland, Maine scored 18 points, grabbed four rebounds, handed out three assists and came up with two steals in EKU’s 91-88 win over Jacksonville State on Thursday night.
